I believe that seeing the big picture and knowing the final destination is necessary for success in any learning progress. In this class, however, I have to admit that I am somewhat clueless about where I am headed! I am definitely entering new territory; therefore, habit # 1 is my most challenging.
I have always viewed problems as challenges or adventures; therefore, habit # 3 is probably easiest for me. Not knowing where I am going in this class and what I will learn is challenging to me. However, I am excited about entering this new world of communication and helping my brain to grow!
All of my students in the Transition Program have laptops. I have seen the advantages that this technology has for my students. In addition, the use of the Smartboard and Edline has allowed me to communicate with students, teachers, and parents in ways that I could not have believed possible twenty years ago. I believe that habit # 6 is most important for this class.
